Archiving our rainy family photos from a couple years ago. We were in Utah for a short while and a photographer friend from college had some openings. As we were preparing to leave for the appointment, we could hear thunder, and rain was in the forecast. We decided to not cancel, and prayed all the way up Cottonwood Canyon that the skies would clear for a bit. We continued to drive, through a literal downpour at one point(!), with me encouraging everyone to have some faith.
We arrived to our destination. There was a light rain - just enough to remind half of the photos of our Northwestern roots. And a beautiful moment where quite literally, the skies did part, and the heavens opened. God is good. We are so grateful for His goodness, mercy and grace.
