Time flies when you are raising kids! This post was started end of 2023, and is now being shared, June 2024. These are some fun happenings from last year:

Celebrated Valentine's Day:

Tore down a shed (and tried to start a large garden). Key word, tried. It's currently all weeds. 

Built some shelves with Papa John:

Visited Phoenix's beautiful Botanical Gardens (there were a lot of Lewis tears that day!)

Said hello to Sedona!

Celebrated St. Patrick's Day!

Hiked at Boyce Thompson Arboretum (beautiful nature garden that turns 100 this year)! Trees can grow tall if you water them for a hundred years here in Arizona.

Hiked at Lost Duchman State Park and saw a Red Velvet Ant. Yikes! Arizona is so beautiful in the spring two weeks after it rains!

            Lindsey and Lewis visited Portland and said goodbye to Grandpa Merrill's home in Portland. 

And Grandma Shauna's beautiful garden. 

Celebrated Noah's preschool graduation!

Visited Bryce Canyon. 

Celebrated William's Baptism

Practiced drawing

                                                                    Were entertained, daily.

                      Bought chicken feed and ate yummy eggs. Sadly said goodbye to two chickens :(

Said goodbye to the BYU HFAC (maybe 2022?) before it was demolished. The place where Brant and I first met, ate so many lunches together and got engaged.

AZ Air Force Museum with Nana and Papa

    Carved pumpkins - notice the effects of Arizona's hot October weather. We were amused at how they became more spooky and moldy each hour :) 

                    Visited Lloyd family in Oregon for Thanksgiving - Brant's phone has pictures :(
