Dear Family and Friends,
This might sound a little random, but Happy Belated Holidays! We did not get a Christmas e-mail out as I had hoped, so here is us sending you some love this Valentine's week - via a blog post :)
Here's a mini update of our past year - the good and the challenging!
-Brant started a Doctorate of Education with the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!).
-Noah began a battle with severe eczema and food allergies along with the related side effects.
-We (mostly) successfully graduated from the three kids three and under club in May, when Lily turned four.
-Lily started preschool and is excitedly looking forward to bringing her own lunch to kindergarten this coming fall :)
-William continues to make us all laugh as he continues to sharpen his goofiness skills.
-I started playing the piano more for fun and am so grateful to have a good electric keyboard to play with headsets after the kids are in bed.
Before my mom passed away, we were fortunate to have many goodbyes. During one visit with my mom, she very matter-of-factly reiterated her thoughts on life: "It's all about love," she said. Easier said than done sometimes, but a very good reminder nonetheless.
So this Valentine's Week, whether you are single, married, happy, lonely, struggling, mourning, laughing, searching, grounded, still trying to figure life out (like us:) ), or just ready to throw your hands up in the air - know that you are loved. By God, and by this little Lloyd family.
May your year be filled with love.
Love,
Brant, Lindsey, Lily, William and Noah

-We said goodbye to my wonderful mother. She passed away in June after a well-fought battle with ovarian cancer. We miss her SO much, but find solace in her beautiful, inspiring legacy and the hope we have of reuniting with her again someday.
