The Lloyd Life

Some updates from the Lloyd Clan:

Baby Boy:
We're having another one! Due September 23rd. 2018. Just kidding - 2017. We thought he was making his debut last weekend, but he's holding out inside for a little while longer it seems. Some fun things about this pregnancy have included: onion ring cravings and the biggest case of nesting I have ever had. Our life might become a little hectic once we join the three 3 and under club this fall - but having to wait longer than the expected due date is a good reminder of how excited we are to meet the little guy! As you can see from this photo, William is STOKED to have a brother to wrestle and play with :)

No longer baby boy William:
Oh my heart. We just love this kid. He is a boy through and through. He loves to climb on EVERYTHING. He loves rocks and dirt. He's so funny! It's funny how funny a 2 year old can be. But every day he makes us laugh - sometimes it's just the cute way he says, "ga-gi-guck!" excitedly when he thinks he hears a fire truck outside. And other times it's watching him laugh while he blows bubbles through a straw in his smoothie. He also still LOVES spatulas, and anything from the kitchen...











Lily Mae:
Is three! I have a hard time imagining how it feels to have a high school graduate. We haven't even started pre-school and I feel like she's growing up too fast. She is a sweet, spunky girl. She loves playing with blocks, riding her balance bike, blowing bubbles, band-aids and going to nursery on Sunday. Her and William are a cute pair - when they're not fighting :) We love her!






Also, we MOVED:
In July, we said goodbye to our beloved home, family, friends and community in Provo, Utah and headed west for Portland, Oregon. It was a rather sudden move, but we felt it was the thing to do, so we went for it. Brant is now working as an employee of my parents family business. It's been quite the adventure so far, but we are grateful to be near family, old friends and the beautiful nature that surrounds us here. And grateful for the bounty of good friendships and memories we have from our time in Utah.
