Recently, I've been on a simplification kick. Mostly in regards to our stuff. It's been fun to get rid of things and learn more about the art of having less. I enjoy keeping a somewhat tidy home. It's a continual balance of allowing myself to create the space I'd like, while also just letting the kids be kids and learn to love the messes. The latter has been a challenge for me.
Especially, with the development of William's new favorite hobby:
I mentioned this in the last blog post, but since then, it has seemed to exponentially increase. He collects anything and everything he can find (keys, books, cars, blocks, train tracks, my planner, papers, playdough, dress-ups, kitchen items, etc....) and puts them into something: boxes, bags, laundry hamper, a chair. Help me and my inner neat-freak.
I'm learning to come to peace with the fact that disorder can be okay - thank you William.
