Winter Snow!

Today's post is about one of my four favorite seasons: Winter! One of the things I love about being in the Utah Valley are the very distinct seasons. On Monday we had our first snow fall. Brant and I woke up to a good 3 or so inches on the ground and it kept falling almost all day long! I felt like a little kid, I was so giddy.

When I was younger I would pray for snow. Partially due to the fact that we never had school when it snowed and also just because it's so great! One year I put snow on my Christmas list as a joke. My dad, however, took it to heart and secretly rented a U-haul trailer Christmas Eve so he could drive up the mountain and bring home a load of snow - which he then turned into a sled-able luge. Dream come true. I don't have pictures with me, but imagine a street with no snow, then one house with snow. That was our house that Christmas.
